Halloween themed bingo announced over the intercom  

Our first Mustang Motto Day of the school year was awesome!! Over 500 students and staff  "Melted into the Mustang Motto". Students and staff enjoyed popsicles on the blacktop .The weather was beautiful and the students and staff truly enjoyed the celebration. Grades 2-5 also redeemed hundreds of horse shoe hoorays at the HSH store. We are off to a great start this year!!


Thanks to PTO for sponsoring the popsicles. Also a big thanks goes out to our PBIS parent, Carrie Bankes, for recruiting parent volunteers to make the day a true success. Thank you: Julie Klein for the pictures, Steven Perkins and Barb Kopka for manning the popsicles and Karen Anderson for working the horse shoe hooray store!!! 

 
All School Celebrations are our way of acknowledging the 3's: Respect, Responsibility and Compassion. The students of Mann School are doing a great job making good choices and following the Mustang Motto throughout the school!!! Hip.. Hip.. Hooray

BACK TO SCHOOL

Welcome Back Mann Mustangs
1st Mustang Motto Day of the Year: Thursday 9/23


We have another exciting year ahead of us. We've already had the BACK TO SCHOOL KICKOFF...It was a blast!! We introduced new staff, reviewed universal school expectations, and illustrated a 'cool tool' lesson regarding appropriate hallway behavior "Walkin' Right". The students and staff are excited about creating a positive and pro-social environment.
September 23rd will be the first All School Celebration. We will have cool tool lessons for staff to role play and illustrate appropriate behaviors throughout the school (i.e. hallways, classrooms, bathrooms, and playground). Then students and staff will have an afternoon celebration of Popsicles on the blacktop, as we "MELT INTO THE MUSTANG MOTTO".

We are kicking the year off with a PBIS POSTER CONTEST!!! Poster Contest- Mann Mustangs Grades 1st-5th

We are asking for student artists to create a PBIS drawing that will be used as the PBIS poster for their grade level classrooms for the year. Please encourage your child to think about the 3B's and how to illustrate them through their own creativity. The poster must include the 3Bs (Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Compassionate).

1st graders: We will provide a template for your child to color and express their creativity if needed

Similar to the year book contest. Each classroom will vote on the best drawing from their room. Then each grade level will vote on the best drawing (from each classroom) to represent the PBIS poster for their grade level. The winning posters enlarged and laminated to posted in the classrooms.

ALL POSTERS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO THEIR CLASSROOM TEACHER NO LATER THAN 9/17. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON 9/23
